The Council is looking into a new City Hall. The current building was built in 1929 as a fire station and has had multiple remodels. It has been used for the Library, Police Department, Court, City Council Chambers and now houses the Building Department, Finance, Community Development and Administration. There have been conversations from 1965 to present about a new City Hall. It is constructed from hollow concrete blocks and is not seismically sound.
